Mr. Newport is a globally recognized expert in the infrared industry and a leading educator in infrared thermography. Since beginning his work in 1976, he has pioneered techniques and applications still widely used today, supported by a strong background in electrical systems.
He has contributed to the development of international standards through his work with organizations such as ASNT, BINDT, and ISO, helping establish widely adopted Level I, II, and III thermography certifications.
