Registration & Payment

Full payment is required in advance to confirm the course registration.

In selected cases, CETM may approve the use of an official Purchase Order (PO) to confirm the registration instead of advance payment. This is subject to CETM management’s approval.

Once the PO is accepted by CETM, the registration is confirmed and the course fees and cancellation terms will apply accordingly.

For registrations confirmed through an approved Purchase Order (PO), the course certificate will only be issued upon receipt of full payment. CETM reserves the right to withhold the certificate until all outstanding course fees have been paid in full.

Once a registration is confirmed, the applicable cancellation, rescheduling, withdrawal and no-show terms will apply, regardless of whether payment has already been received or an approved PO has been accepted.

Participant Substitution & Rescheduling

If the registered participant is unable to attend the originally confirmed course, the participant may either request a substitution or reschedule to another available session, subject to the following conditions:

Substitution: One (1) participant substitution is permitted at no additional charge. The replacement participant must meet all applicable course prerequisites.

Rescheduling: One (1) rescheduling is permitted, subject to CETM’s approval and course availability.

CETM must be notified in writing of any substitution or rescheduling request at least five (5) working days before the course commencement date.

The registered participant or approved replacement participant must complete the course within six (6) months from the original confirmed course date. If the course is not completed within this period, the course fee paid will be forfeited, and no refund, credit, or further rescheduling will be provided.

If CETM is unable to offer a suitable course date within the six (6)-month period, the validity period will be extended to the next available course date offered by CETM.

Cancellation / Withdrawal by Participant

All cancellation or withdrawal requests must be submitted to CETM in writing.

For cancellations received at least seven (7) working days before the course commencement date, 80% of the course fee paid will be refunded. The remaining 20% will be retained as a cancellation and administrative fee to cover arrangements and costs already incurred, including trainer arrangements, course materials, catering, and administration.

For cancellations received less than seven (7) working days before the course commencement date, no refund will be provided, and the full course fee will be forfeited.

Where applicable, participants may nominate a replacement participant in accordance with Clause 2 instead of cancelling their registration.

No-Show / Absence

Participants who fail to attend the course without prior written notice will be considered a no-show.

In the event of a no-show, the full course fee will be forfeited. No refund, credit, participant replacement, or replacement class will be provided.

Minimum Class Size

All courses are subject to a minimum number of participants.

CETM reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel a course if the minimum class size is not met.

Where a course is rescheduled, registered participants will be offered the next available course date.

Course Cancellation or Rescheduling by CETM

CETM reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or make reasonable changes to a course due to unforeseen circumstances, trainer availability, insufficient enrolment, or other operational reasons.

Registered participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
If CETM cancels a course and no suitable replacement date is available, course fees already paid will be refunded or credited accordingly.

CETM will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential costs incurred by participants as a result of a course cancellation or rescheduling, such as transportation, accommodation, parking, or other personal expenses.

Refund Processing

Where a participant is eligible for a refund under these Terms & Conditions, CETM will process the applicable refund within thirty (30) days from the date the written cancellation request is received. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, where possible. If alternative bank or payment details are required, the customer must provide the updated information to CETM in writing.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all bank and payment details provided are accurate. CETM will not be responsible for any delay or incorrect transfer resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer.

Any applicable cancellation or administrative fee will be deducted from the refund amount in accordance with the Cancellation / Withdrawal terms stated above.
If the refund has not been received within the stated processing period, the customer may contact CETM for assistance.

Meals & Dietary Requirements

Meals or refreshments may be provided for selected courses, where applicable. Halal meals will be provided for courses where meals are included.

CETM can accommodate vegetarian meal requests only, provided that the request is made in advance.

Due to catering arrangements, CETM is unable to accommodate other special dietary requirements, preferences, allergies, or customised meal requests. Participants with specific dietary requirements are advised to make their own meal arrangements
where necessary.

Trainer, Venue, Schedule & Course Content

CETM reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the trainer, training venue, course schedule, course materials, or course content where necessary.

Such changes will not entitle the participant to a refund provided that the overall learning objectives of the course are not materially affected.

Course Prerequisites

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet all stated course prerequisites.

Participants are also responsible for bringing any required equipment, laptop, software, test instruments, or other materials specified for the course.

Failure to meet the course prerequisites or bring the required equipment may affect the participant's ability to participate in or complete the course and will not entitle the participant to a refund.

Attendance & Certification

100% attendance is required for participants to be eligible to receive a Certificate of Attendance or Completion.

If a participant is unable to attend or complete any part of the course due to illness or an unforeseen emergency, CETM must be informed as soon as possible.

CETM will consult with the trainer to determine whether an alternative arrangement can reasonably be made. Any alternative arrangement, including eligibility for certification, make-up sessions, or completion of outstanding course requirements, will be subject to the trainer's assessment and approval on a case-by-case basis.

CETM does not guarantee that a certificate will be issued where the 100% attendance requirement has not been met.

Late Arrival / Early Departure

Participants are expected to attend the course in full.

Late arrival, early departure, or incomplete attendance may affect the participant's eligibility to receive a Certificate of Attendance or Completion.

Any exception will be subject to CETM's and/or the trainer's assessment and approval.

Course Materials & Intellectual Property

All course and training materials provided are for the registered participant's personal learning use only.

Course materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, published, uploaded, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from CETM and/or the respective copyright owner.

Photography, Video & Audio Recording

Audio recording, video recording, photography of training materials, or reproduction of the training session is not permitted without prior approval from CETM and the trainer.

Personal Belongings & Equipment

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings, laptops, test instruments, equipment, and other items brought to the training venue.

CETM will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings or equipment, except where required by
applicable law.

Conduct & Safety

Participants must comply with all safety instructions, venue rules, and reasonable instructions given by CETM and the trainer.

CETM reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive, inappropriate, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

A participant removed on such grounds will not be entitled to a refund of the course fee.

Changes to Registration Details

Participants are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration is complete and accurate.

Any changes to the participant's name, company, contact details, or other relevant registration information must be communicated to CETM in writing once they receive course confirmation.

Amendments to Terms & Conditions

CETM reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary. The Terms & Conditions applicable to a participant's registration will be those communicated or made available at the time of registration, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a course registration and/or Purchase Order, the participant and/or sponsoring company acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
