Are there any pre-requisites for our courses?

For IRT Level 1 & 2

  • Level 1: English proficiency required. No prior experience needed — suitable for beginners and professionals. Covers practical thermography techniques and infrared analysis fundamentals. Training materials included.
  • Level 2: Completion of the IIRT Level 1 course is required.

Any subsidy with WSQ / SkillsFuture Credits?

At the moment, our courses are not eligible for government subsidies.

What if I can't attend the course after registering?

  • If a participant is unable to attend prior to the course commencement, a replacement participant may attend in their place. No changes or substitutions will be allowed after the course has started.
  • Kindly inform us at least 2 days in advance should you wish to make such an arrangement. 

What do I have to bring for class?

  • For IRT Level 1 & 2 - You will need writing materials, laptop and a IR Thermal Camera
  • For other courses - please refer to individual course pages for more information.

Fluke Vibration Level 1 - Candidate Profile

This course is intended for the vibration analyst who will:

  • Collect vibration data
  • Validate that the data is good
  • Begin to perform basic analysis
  • Use the training and certification as the start of a new and rewarding career as a vibration analyst

Fluke Vibration Level 1 - About the Course

Duration:

  • 30 hours, typically over four days

Format:

  • Live public course
  • Private On-site course

Compliance:

  • Training: ISO 18436-2
  • Certification: ISO 18436-2, ISO/IE 17024

Exam:

  •  2 hours
  • 60 multiple-choice questions
  • 70% passing grade
  • Can be taken online or in-person at the course

Certification requirements:

  • Training course completed
  • 6-months of practical vibration analysis work experience, verified by supervisor/manager
  • Pass the exam
  • Valid for 5 years

Pre-study:

  • Access to the Learning Zone upon registration and payment. For online distance learning, access to the learning platform four months from registration and payment.
  • Complete set of videos covering every topic
  • An excellent way to be prepared and get the most from the course

Post-study:

  • Continue to access the Learning Zone 4-months after the course completion or upgrade for a lifetime with Life Long Learning (LLL)

Fluke Vibration Level 1 - VCAT-I Training and Certification Requirements

All you need is a desire to learn and to succeed in your field. In order to be certified you must:

  • Complete a MIBoC approved training course
  • Achieve 70% or higher on the certification exam (60 multiple choice questions, duration 2 hours).
  • Have six (6) months of practical vibration analysis work experience, verified by supervisor/manager.

Vibration analysis certification is valid for five (5) years.

Fluke Vibration Level 1 - Experience Requirements for VCAT-I

  • You must have 6 months of practical work experience in the field of machinery condition monitoring and diagnostics.
  • You will be asked to provide the contact details of a manager/supervisor who can verify the work experience details submitted.

Fluke Networks CCTT - Examination & Certification

  • Signed certificate with a 2-years validity will be issued to those attendees who passed each exam (and will be deemed as successfully completing the course).
